Turnout boots?

Which do you recommend? My boy is on box rest at the moment due to a nasty leg wound so they would need to protect it, and also prevent mud rash. I was thinking the equilibrium hardy chaps?:)
 
Equilibrium hardy chaps are fine in the summer when its dry. when there is mud it gets under them and rubs it into the skin. Also if your horse is anything like mine it wont take much to take massive chunks out of the neoprene or go all the way through like mine did... i havent tried any others i have just used brushing boots and over reach boots for protection but havent used anything for mudfever
