My two horses are both living out 24/7, and definately one, if not both are going to get clips where half their heads and their necks are removed. I was wondering whether anyone knew of good, yet not expensive turnout hoods to prevent their heads and top of their necks getting wet and cold. One is a 13.2hh native, and the other is a 16.2hh warmblood.

Thanks very much!

if having a trace clip with half head the line is usually whenere the wet drops off! snuggy hoods good and hundreds of full neck rugs on market, but will rub out some of mane if worn all the time!

I clipped my 14.3 med weight cob yesterday and tried his new rug on, Weatherbeeta Orican Original Combo Heavy, it fitted very well and will his cover whole neck, not expensive at all, was under £100, very nice fit.
