Turnout on field that's just been baled for Haylage.

My field was cut middle of last week ,turned at weekend and baled today for Haylage, am I right in thinking I need to wait at least a week before I can put horses back on it for grazing ?

I think the farmer next door to me waits about a week or two before he puts the livery horses on the hay field.

It won't do any harm, but better left to recover unless it is a massive field and few horses.

Wait a week or so due to the grass clippings left on the surface, the baler won't have got them all
