Has anyone got any suggestions for a summer turnout rug for my 13.2 hh Highland pony please? She needs something with a nylon lining as she has very sensitive skin and nylon is the only thing that doesn't irritate it. Rug needs to be standard neck, no fill and generous in the shoulder/chest. Thank you :)

The only make that fit my 14.2 hipo are Horseware Amigo, he takes a 6'9! Not sure why you need a rug for summer though, is it for sweetitch/fly protection?

Thank you. Will look at the Horseware Amigo. It was on my list :)

She is fully clipped and feels the cold so no, not needed for sweetitch/fly protection. It will be worn at night only.

Thank you both :) I will look at both Amigo and Axiom. Have to confess to never having heard of Axiom but if they are generously cut they may be a good choice too :D

Thanks everyone. Will be getting an Amigo any day now if it arrives promptly :D

Never realised there were so many of us HiPo owners on here. I love my pony to bits.

neither did I, they really are the most fab ponies to have fun with :)

I have to agree. After getting my first Highland I kept getting asked when I was going back onto horses and no-one believed me when I said, "Never"! After 7 years they do believe me, ha ha.
