Apologies but I went down a rabbit hole last night looking for a turnout rug with liners. We are on the top of a hill and quite exposed, so always a bit colder here. I have a traditional cob and would like a rug with shoulder pleats and the option of adding liners. I have looked at some older threads but then wasn't sure if the info was still the same. I see that Le Mieux have brought out this option too? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

My sharer bought my horse a LeMieux rug with a liner before winter. It has not lasted well, three rips already, one of them large (whole tail flap has come off). Partly it's because he is in with an annoying young horse who does bite at it, but others have lasted better. I would stick to a maker more renowned for rugs, even though the lemiuex looks lovely and seems very warm.

I posted a thread on this a little further down as i am currently looking for next winter so that i can get rid of all the rugs i don't need and don't use.
I have a New Forest and struggle to find rugs that are a decent fit. I was recommended the Shires Highlander Plus which i've been looking into and it seems a good option
