Good morning.

I have 15.1 Connemara who wears a 6ft rug but seems to have a shorter neck than some of the rugs (with necks) I have tried. She is quite compact in size.

Just wondering what everyone else is using for a horse with a slightly shorter neck??

Thanks Emma 😊

A Horseware half neck is always my choice; there are different weights and choice through Amigo, Rhino Wugs and Rambo although Weatherbeeta and Masta did do them too. They seem to be making a come back too.

I like half necks too as the rain doesn’t go down the neck.

Me too plus it doesn't take out manes and gives them just a bit more protection than a normal neck. Years ago, Requisite (Robinsons) did one that was brilliant, lasted several years too although the Horseware's are so tough; I have an old green Rambo still as good as new and I picked it up second hand at Beeston tack sale for £25 thirty years ago.
