Was just looking for any cheap 50-80g turnout recommendations for a rug wrecker.

Not the cheapest but swish make those rugs in a high denier which might help a little?

What I did for my youngster in his shredding phase was keep an eye on FB marketplace - Nabbed a 2nd hand barely used 40g P.E turnout for £40 - tough as anything & added bonus of being able to take the liners.
