I despair of myself, I really do.
Went to see a horse yesterday afternoon, after a 2 hour journey he arrived at 11pm in a thunderstorm. Cool as a cucumber.Turned him out early this morning and he's totally laidback and unbothered by the others.
He is called Luke but we are not sure about the name, waiting a few days to see if a new one pops into our heads. He wouldn't stand still long enough for me to get a decent body shot.
He's a rising 3 y.o QH colt.

I think you should shut the gate quick, he's gorgeous!
Is he "Cool Hand Luke"?

That's what I was thinking - especially if he was as cool as it sounds with his move to his new home

Oh wow, what a stunner!

Yes, definitely a 'Cool Hand Luke'! (You're outnumbered here enfys, just go with the flow, yeh? It's fate, no point trying to fight it!)

He's lovely! You planning on doing some western stuff with him?

If you don't can I have him, pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Aw he's really lovely Enfys. Very pretty head on him.

I think you should change his name to something a bit stronger.

What was the buckskin like?

Thankyou.

We haven't got a gate at the front of the property, any old trailer can trundle in

Mind, the one he came in last night was very swish, custom built for shipping racehorses. 35' (+about 15' of Chevvy Dually towing, Diesel, 6 litre my OH says) 6 horse gooseneck trailer, that converts into box stalls. This one was too big to turn around on our yard and had to park out on the Concession. It would be a heck of a job getting that around English roads!

I have had to do a bit of a stable swap around as the mares absolutely hate him, Robin (my so called laid back paint ha ha!) attacked him as she walked past his stable. Lola rather fancies him though. He is a real poppet, comes to call and very polite and has obviously been well started, a little bug eyed at things but he'll get used to the place.

Tia, the buckskin is for sale. Welsh/QH gelding. 3y.o 13.2h. Owner said he was being advertised as a Childrens Hunter (we think) I didn't ask a price, but could find out if you were interested

Ah but methinks Lola may be a tart!

They'll get used to him in time I'm sure - they're just sorting out the pecking order, poor little guy! I have so many horses here that they barely take much notice of new ones arriving.

Ah not interested in buckskin if he is a crossbreed, however just out of interest what are they asking for him as I may know someone looking for one.

Lovely looking horse but then again I am partial to the colour and breed

You say he arrived in a storm and he is a US quarter horse. What about Rain Dancer or Raindance ?
Just a suggestion ?
