Tweed colours?

Ok this is what I thought! Thank you, def need to stick to a green tweed then. Just having a look around at the different companies, looking for a tweed with navy/blue overtones

I'm just looking round at tweeds at the mo. Those were just random pics I found to ask about the background colour. Yearling is currently a steel grey colour but will eventually be greying out. Have a navy/White browband, pale blue shirt and navy/polka dot tie. Just looking to upgrade jacket :)

Ok, I'll attach a picture. Going for a complete overhaul (I know there are quite a few things to change). So any suggestions of a jacket would be fab please. In hand riding horse and I may do some part bred m&m. This is the first pic of us on here, (scared!) as I don't really do in hand showing, well I've never done it until twice this year...

Not really up on the showing world so suggestions appreciated

I have just bought a green tweed, the Caldene Silverdale, I went for green to complement my bright bay, however my first use of it was showing a grey M&M inhand last weekend! :D

It entirely depends on the class you are doing.
With ponies you can get away with loud tweeds. For my hunter ponies I had a mustard coloured tweed with bright red bold overcheck.
For horses it should be more sedate but bothe brown and green tweeds with subtle overchecks are normal. I now have a proper hunter so my tweed is green with a subtle burghundy and yellow overcheck

Ah ok this makes sense, so ponies louder really? I'll be in the in hand riding horse, or sometimes 1,2,3 yr old open depending on show. Also, part bred m and m.
