where as before I've had second hand, tack box ads, ebay, friends etc. Interested to know what colours & make people prefer. Velvet collars or plain. My very favourite she had was a green tweed english make, medium weight with an extra peice inside the single rear vent....... cant remeber the make (annoying) many thanks to any replies

the caldene hickstead tweed jacket is very popular amongst us showing people. a very flattering jacket, green tweed, with blue or brown velvet collar..

I love the green tweed with blue velvet collar
I have a brown tween with brown velvet collar (it was my mum yonks ago)
I always go for Caldene as they last forever (this is the make of the brown tweed)

I love my Barbour tweed, bought it half price at Gatcombe! It's a sort of greeny tweed.

Steer clear of velvet collars unless for showing, if she's wanting to event/hunt it doesn't look right imo

I got a tagg tweed jacket for christmas and it's a lovely jacket. I got the Saville which retails around £130. The fit and colour is beautiful and it looks really smart and flattering
