I'm going to a show the on the 2nd of July and have entered the riding club horse and the show jumping. I have never done riding club horse before and think we should have a tweed jacket. As I have no idea how things will go I dont want to pay out for a fortune one incase we never use it again. ( I know I sound hopeful) haha.
So does anyone know where I could get a cheap jacket? Or would I get off with my black one that I have?

Thanks for any help you can give. If you want to see a pic of the horse she in the sig or I can post up more if needed.

For riding club horse I would say a black jacket would be fine for your first attempt as it should be judged on the horses suitability and as for turnout I think smart jacket, black hat and light jods would be acceptable. I would use a numah rather than saddle cloth as I think they look nicer and more "correct" in the show ring. If you really are after a tweed jacket be worth trying second hand shops for a deal.
