Had another lovely day today . . . started out gloomy but soon brightened up . . . spent a little while watching the SJ and then made my way out onto the XC course - got chatting to a lovely couple of fence judges at the water complex (apparently they were fence judges of the year last year and are going to the Olympics :)) - very friendly . . . second combination through stopped and rider flipped over horse's head (was strapped to a back board and ambulanced off but apparently fine) . . . two or three more combos later something similar happened but rider took the horse's bridle off . . . cue horse (6-year-old stallion) larking about and refusing to be caught for about 10 minutes or so - very entertaining :).

Here's the link to some of the pics I took . . . http://bit.ly/KsD5Ee

. . . and here are some of my favourites . . .

BTW . . . am not a pro, so constructive critique/comments are welcome. One day, I'd like to be able to buy the right gear and make this more than a hobby, so comments are always useful.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you . . . there were some lovely horses . . . loved the chestnut with the big white face Dan Jocelyn was riding . . . ditto the big, chunky chestnut warming up for Intermediate dressage. Some lovely greys (I love a nice grey) and some cracking coloureds too. It was a lovely day out.
