OH arrived last night at Tweseldown to set up my tradestand for me, no plan of where to pitch (as usual) & couldn't go in usual place, no room. So put it up in the next best sensible place, rang tradestand manager to tell him where it was, & told him no problem to move it today if that wasn't right, he said he was sure it would be fine. Worked as usual this morning, arrived about 12.30pm to put stock in tent, spoke to tradestand manager again to check position was ok before I stocked up, he assured me it was fine, stocked tent & left about 2.30pm to call on a couple of local customers. At 5.15pm, receive a call from same manager telling me I have to move my now fully stocked stand, WTF!!! Had a row on the phone, pointed out that I had spoken to him twice before putting the stock in, plus other tactfully put observations about his er "organisational" skills, ended up hanging up on him. Finished off ponies & drove back to Tweseldown where he shows me my new position, yes you guessed it, the one he told me I couldn't go in first off!! Apparently he is providing "men" to move it for me tomorrow, as I pointed out that I can't quite bang 2' long pegs into the hardstanding, move a marquee & about 1/2 ton of stock on my own. May just stay in bed, well done if you got this far!!! Oh, & the reason it has to move?? My 3m sq stand is going to obscure the view of a 6 horse lorry, oh right!!!!
