Hello all!

Went to Tweseldown today for PN, 1st outing of the season and our first ever affiliated PN.

Warmed up really well for Dressage and instructor was riding at same time so kept shouting tips over to me which was v handy! And imo did his best ever dressage test canter a bit iffy but trot and walk work was great and got a slightly disapointing 44.8

but i was pleased with him.

So then onto SJ and jumped clear

Xc - we had a bad experiance at the first element of the old coffin there about a year ago in which we both very nearly went down - so had decided when walking course i would take the long opption - jumped so well round first half of the course i decided to go for it - and he stopped! So nipped over alternative and jumped clear the rest of the way home and styill wityhin the time. So overall a really good day and the moral of the story is - always go with your first instinicts!!!

mad!!

Thats probably it - cos he went to take off, stumbled and then knelt on the fence then slid over and landed terribly - i dont know how he didnt fall on landing - and i definately dont know how i didnt fall off!! lol

And since he's jumped other ditches, coffins and trekhana's (sp?) since and been fine!

So must just take long route there from now on!!
