Personally i dont think it is one of the "easier" PN, ie compared to Munstead and Pulborough etc. You are only allowed to school round there 2 weeks AFTER the event has run.
My instructor's opinion on Nurstead was that it was certainly more challenging and up to height for a PN and would be a good one to lead on to a Novice course. Having ridden/schooled around quite a few PN courses now i would have to agree with him It is lovely there though and i intend to do it in april even if we get stuck half way round!

I personally think Nurstead is not great for a first PN. The showjumping is on really undualting ground which was causing lots of problems last year and the xc is well built and solid and up to height. Last year a several of the pn fences were also in the novice.
