Unfortunately because of lack of entries Tweseldown have had to run this event only on the Sunday not both days.

Its such a shame as the new owners have taken so much effort and there are loads of new fences from 70cm upwards. Its been lovely to see some real effort being put in and there are fences for all levels. The ground is always good and another bonus is the cost hasn't gone up for course hire!!

I know the over the past couple of years a lot of people have felt put off as it was fairly pointless to go schooling there as lots of fences were not available and they have cancelled the unaffiliated competitions regularly.

However it is now under new management. It would be a huge shame to lose the opportunity of unaffiliated competitions because of the recent past history.

I totally agree, Tweseldown is such a fab place to compete and school at, we are so lucky to have such a great venue very local to us and it would be a real shame if we did not take full advantage of it !

I met the new owners when stewarding dressage for one of the events in July, they were lovely and do seem to have worked extremely hard to make it even better, offering a much wider range of jump heights and options, opening it up to everyone at all levels, whether they plan to BE or not.

Sadly, my youngster isn't quite ODE ready this season, so I won't be able to enter, but we are going schooling there next Wednesday and very much looking forward to trying all the new jumps ;-)
