Does anyone have the time to desensitise horses to clippers these days?

I forever seem to be running from work-yard-home so I’ll say not me. Over the years, my Irish boy seems to be less bothered about his legs. He used to cow kick and I couldn’t even oil his feathers a couple of years ago. Now I can and I’m debating whether the whole lot should come off, bar half a head, still doesn’t like his ears being touched.
