Two point air jacket - back foam panel

Does anyone know if you can use air jacket over BP without removable back foam panels?

The instructions don’t say? But it is removable and feels like unnecessary bulk?

Anyone know?

I don't have a foam panel in mine and i wear it without a body protector. If you don't want it, just take it out.

I think it’s an addition to newer models. It seems excessive for wearing over BP. It’s not mentioned in detailed instruction leaflet. I’ll take it out unless use solo, thanks.
