Two quick freestyle to music questions

Firstly the intro music isn't included in the total time is it?
Secondly someone is kindly helping me do the music at the moment and I have had to juggle some of the timings and don't have time to go through it on Molly at the moment as I am at work and can't ride for a couple days so........how long would you say I will need for my final trot. I canter across the diagonal, trot at M then round the short side and turn left around Eish to go up the centre line for final halt. I am short on time but don't want to make it too short think I have 27sec does that sound about right?

27 secs sounds a bit short to me...but...is this a long or short school? In a short school, your final trot would be about 60 metres (if I'm understanding your plan correctly). Depending on the size of your horse's stride, that's maybe about 30 strides...it could actually work out pretty exactly!

Total timing of freestyle is first halt to final halt. However a new ruling, I think, is that intro music should be less than 30 secs....

If I have understood your plan right, you are turning left onto the centre line from E, so if your music is tight, you could turn sooner? Nothing like improvisation!

1st A)Music is timed from the first halt to the last.

2nd A)As its freestyle you should be able to turn earlier if needed or halt earlier! Think 27 secs should be enough time.
