Two years ago today, the vet had just been out and turned my world upside down. He'd been along with his scanner and officially confirmed that Mary was in foal, with about a month to go. She was looking very portly, and I was facing an awful lot of late nights and long days filled full of cramming in as much knowledge about foaling as I possibly could.
Fast forward two years and that foal is now the biggest character you could possibly come across, and still very much the apple of her mum's eye, as these pictures so perfectly show.
It's difficult to remember now what life was like without her!
