Some people like carthorses that fly, many years ago I saw a friends new horse bought for her daughter to event, I was polite and made the right comments while thinking it was a bit plain more of a hunter type but as they had very little money he should give them plenty of fun, well he grew up, changed shape, had far more talent than expected, by them as well as others, that plain little horse took her to the top as a young rider, on to Badminton/ Burghley and went to a World Champs, not bad for a rather common fun horse that cost very little.
