I have decided to invest in a pair of these having seen them at YHL today and tried them on and have returned home to try and find a good deal as they weren't at the show. I have been looking on-line to try and get the best deal but I am now very confused....

Some places show the Tyne boot with the rubber almost half way up the ancle (like the ones I tried on today) and other pictures show the rubber going just above the ankle.

I have looked at the muck boot website and even they show the picture of the rubber just above the ankle

....Can anyone help put me out of my confusion, is there a new model out or something????

Ta for the link TBC

Thanks TBC....how far up the leg does the rubber go on yours...dont want it to short else will get very wet legs....field is over the ankle by the gate already.

Mrs M...this is the cheapest I have found and free delivery you'll see the rubber does look higher on the leg than on the link TBC posted...hence my confusion

Ive had these boots and they are great. Mine needed replacing so I looked on Ebay and seen some muck boots but not the Tyne and won them for £21. The reason for this I think is they werent under the Equestrian section. They are much comfier than the Tyne and have a thicker sole. The reason Im waffling on about them

is because the rubber on my new ones doesnt go much above the ankle and the water at our gates is up to my calfs. Wet legs, I thought!! My legs are totally dry, they must be waterproof all the way up.

Yes, they do look different at the top of the leg as well, more curved.

I have a pair, about a year old now, and they are waterproof all the way up

. Keep feet very warm indeed!

. I ride in mine and find them very supportive, but fairly inflexible at the ankle.

Well my yard is half flood plain so its really important for me to have something decent! The rubber goes half way up my calf more than enough for even my wet yard!
