Typhoon Warning for Hong Kong.... Possible delay to SJ final

I have just received a message from someone in HK and there is a typhoon warning for tomorrow.

Possible delay to start of showjumping Individual final.

Could be delayed until Friday 22nd.

See, now that would work for me - I can be home Friday but I'm out for the day tomorrow.

Not that I'd wish a tropical storm on anyone but it would be slightly more convenient if they could get that done . . .

. . . but then the Canadians are on a high right now . . .

Jeez, it's so difficult to decide which way to tempt Fate.

Oh no, not another horseless day at the Olympics. I was really looking forward to tomorrow, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms today! At least there won't be typhoons for London 2012 (pi$$ing rain, no doubt though

I amazed that since XC day, when it was raining but not all that hard, they don't appear to have had any bad weather during competition hours.

I was just about to post about this, heard it this morning on the weather channel. I live in Florida and just narrowly missed getting hit by a tropical storm, which caused quite alot of damage....this typhoon is much worse (equal to a cat. 2 hurricane). I hope everyone over there stays safe.
