Took Fly in 2ft 3" and got in jump off, sooooo pleased. Finished out of ribbons but 7th, what a good boy. Go in 2ft 6" just as person I don't like decides to watch. Think it un nerved me, had 3 refusals so eliminated and to cap it all Fly would not load on way home! (Person happened to walk past and witness it). Has anyone else had this happen to them! Got to laugh really, just so typical!!! xxxx

Oh dear. You have to not let this person get to you. Just hold your head up high and say to yourself I'll show them.

Think that’s what called ‘sods law’. I wouldn’t worry about it, if you don’t like the person then their opinion shouldn’t count anyway!

At my last yard we had an old bat who used to be critical of everyone. She had a similar effect on me - the only time I ever rode a dressage test wrongly she was writing for the judge!
I agree its best not to worry about it - but its easier said than done!

typical! lol!

I get it if its someone who I want to impress tho! lol! First time my boyfriend (who hates horses!) came to see me compete it was a dressage comp and I rode appaulingly!! lol!
