Does anybody still use tyres, either for making up jumps or wedging water/feed buckets in so horses don't knock them over? I have two tyres that came with some alloy wheels I had to buy and as they are racing tyres I have no use for them and don't want to throw them out or give them to a garage to profit on!!

I'm based in Morley, Leeds, very close to Elland Road football ground, so if anybody is in the vicinity that would like them, let me know. I'll either drop them off or you can pick them up

Ooooh if only i wasnt so far away!! I'm on the lookout for anything like that to start spook-proofing my youngster! I'm sure someone will snap them up from you.

At the end of March i'm heading to Hinckley near Coventry (for a work-related course but I will be heading into Coventry anyway to visit a friend) and staying over. If nobody else has homed them up by then, are you anywhere near there? They smell quite strongly of rubber too when you first move them - my shed stank for about three days!

Hmm, when you said coventry i didnt think it would be too far but have just looked on google maps and apparently it would be about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hrs away. Still possibly a bit too far i think, sorry
