Have any of you done the unaffiliated showjumping at Royal Leisure or have a schedule? Can you tell me what the courses are like? Warm up? Parking etc and what the classes are and whether do Clear round at 2'6" height?
 
I occasionally did the winter Unaff. SJ at Royal Leisure a year or so ago and the courses are very similar to the affiliated courses just smaller in height - they are all built by Michael Talbot. Parking is fantastic - plenty of space and all hard standing. Lots of warm up space too both for the indoor stuff and the outdoor stuff. Royal Leisure dont have a website but on the BSJA area 46 website you can probably get their phone no. and give them a ring to find out what competitions they've got coming up

I believe there is an unaffiliated show this Saturday, but I don't know whether it is indoors or out. I would presume outdoors, in which case they have a large outdoor grass arena and artificial surface warm up.

If indoors, it is covered warmup too.

Unsure on clear round.

Parking - they have some hard surface parking, but not sure whether they use grass parking for jumping shows, as I have only ever been for showing shows or dressage before.

oh bum i cant go this saturday !! i really like the venue wish they would get a website though
