Uh oh Barnes is in bother!!!!!

Took Barnes for his walk as usual this morning and then left him settled in the living room with a chew while I had a shower etc.

I was first downstairs ready to leave and thought to myself...'I don't remember leaving any train tickets on the sofa'.

of course I hadn't. On closer inspection Barnes had somehow got hold of OH's wallet, eaten the leather fastener off of it, emptied the contents, chewed up a credit card.......and eaten a TENNER!!!!!

I was laughing my arse off but had to put sympathetic face on while trying to tell OH and NOT point out that he had left it somewhere that puppy could get hold of it.....

I know I expected having a dog to alter our finances slightly but this is ridiculous!!!!! Naughty Barnesy!!!!

I had a lodger who had a huge long haired GSD. I had taken rather a large amount of cash out of the bank over a few days to pay for my horse lorry. I had tucked the money in a brown envelope behind my computer monitor and the dog found it, removed it and ate £260!!! I managed to reclaim about £100 from the bank as he had left remnants of some notes, but I never did get the rest back, I was fuming!

What was worse was picking up the poo in the garden over the next few days and finding parts of £20 notes in it.....
