Am meant to be taking L SJ tomorrow but have found out most of my old yard will be there no doubt having a good ol bitch about me aswell!:o

Am considering not going as last time I took L out I ended up royaly "stacking it" (although on my feet) and I cannot bear the thought of it happening again with them all there sniggering! :(

It wouldn't bother me if I had B but because L is still very green in his SJ we are liable for stops / run outs / fall/ elimination etc amd I don't want to make a complete pleb of myself for the reasons mentioned above.

I need convincing not to chicken out as I am SERIOUSLY considering NOT going!!! :(

just ignore everyone from your old yard, who cares if they are watching whats the worst they are going to do apart from bitch amongst themselves. at least you can think that your taking a green horse sj but they will all probably on horses they all bought ready made, horses have to get a bit of experiance some how just go for it you'll be fine :D

Go for it.

Show them what your made of!

I would be nervous as hell too.....but just concentrate on the sniggers, the thoughts of them gloating etc....put the nerves to the back of your mind....have a swig of brandy and go for it and jst have fun and enjoy yourselves and if your successfull.....make sure rosettes are displayed on the stable door etc :-D

Good luck!

Go for it :)

Forget the b*tches, they arent worth it! They'll want you to be nervous so dont play to their tune! Put the anger into strenghth in your riding (if that makes sense :p)

Good luck and fingers crossed they humiliate themselves :p

ignore them all silly people and dont worry about falling off even the best riders do it! i fell off in a warm up arena now that as embarassin lol

Rise above it love.....do you really care what these people think of you? I mean honestly, do they matter?? Where are you going? And got to know which yard were you on before? because it sounds delightful!! ;)

just think how insecure and petty they are if they'd rather bitch about you than watch how someone rides the course!

go for it, and don't let them bother you. concentrate on you, the horse and the round and you'll soon forget about them.

don't forget to tell us how you get on!

What would Ellen Whitaker do? I mean there must be bitching at every level. Try to think bigger and rise above it (see what I did there? rise/jumping). Good luck.
