Uh-oh West Wilts Cancelled

Gutted. Not strictly surprised, but gutted! That's 7 BE entries made and 2 BE events attended so far for me this year. Ho hum....
 
GUTTED!!!!

Was so looking forward to it - never been and wanted 1 more clear BE100 - 2nd one this season out of 6 cancelled......and even bloody schooled horse for 1 hour in rain today....
 
And another:( was going to be the riders first run over 100 and she was all geared up for it, even rode in the downpour just now.

Only bonus is I wont be stewarding in the rain on Saturday.
 
Really disappointed as it was to be my first 90 and I was so looking forward to it. I know we have had lots of rain in last two days but forecast for saturday is actually really good so quite surprised they have taken the decision this early.
 
I'm surprised by this! Have we really had that much rain this week?
The weather is doing very odd things this year! One weekend I am slopping round a bog at an event, 2 weeks later my horse was going lame show jumping on rock hard ground and now it's a bog again!
Grrrrrrrrrrrr
 
I have to say Im quite surprised - Although wet here (new forest) its still hard underneath and the forecast for sat is quite good.
 
Really gutted. My fields were still rock solid up until today pretty much. But forecast doesn't look good at all so can completely understand. Really trying it hard to get runs under their belts now. Stupid British weather!

What SC said, we have had loads of rain and the forecast is looking horrid. The fields are horrible, one minute the ground is rock solid and the next minute we are drowned, can't keep up with it!
The only good thing is that the grass is growing really well so should get a good hay cut :)
 
gutted - I was going to treck over there and stable the night before, as I need just one more qualifying double clear to get into the Blenheim Tri-Zone event. Gah! - running out of qualifying events now as they keep getting cancelled :(
 
They are running an eventers combined training on sunday now. At least we get to do the test we have been working on. Seems to be email your details to enter

I've got 3 more chances - begining, middle & end of July.... one of those is Tweseldown which surely can't cancel?! - the other two, who knows, but it'll be July by then FFS! (tho the ground will probably be too hard by then.....).
