So.... I picked up my pup last Friday night-she's an 8 week old jack russell.

The next day her breeder called to say she had found a flea on her dad-she said it was only the one but she wanted to let me know.

i checked her over and couldn't see any, however today I found one! I gave her a bath and went over her with a flea comb before and after and didn't get any more.

i have washed her bedding and sprayed the house with a flea killer spray thing....

now what do I do? She has the vet on Friday for her jags so will get her frontlined then. Is there anything else I should do? I know it was just the one I found but I'm a worrier....

:) x

If you are at the vets it might b worth asking about advocate. It's a spot on worm and flea treatment. Can b used on puppies from 8 weeks. So easy as you don't have to try to get tablets down a wriggly puppy for the worms

Oh that would be good as she was going to be getting wormed on Friday too. Thank you. Is there anything else I should do in terms of making sure they are not all over my house?? The pup is white with 2 black spots and a black/brown. Face with a white stripe so I'm 99.9% sure there isn't any more fully grown ones on her body.

On the other hand...trying to flea comb a wriggly puppy over a white puppy pad is one of he most difficult things I have ever done! Wriggly worm!

Thanks again x

Ooooh if I must :p
