UK agent for Michel Vaillant shoes

Probably posting in the wrong room but people are more switched on in here! I have a new imported 3* event horse which must be shod only with a certain type of weighted toe aluminium shoe made in France by Michel Vaillant. Long story but the front legs don't work with anything else and the previous owners have tried! I can order online directly from MV in France but was wondering if there was a UK Agent which would be easier. I know there are often posts in CR from farriers so hopefully somebody can help!

Try contacting http://www.atlantic-equine.co.uk/ . They ship in shoes from America that I have used in the past so may be able to help you get these in. Worth a try?

try ,handmadeshoes , they stock most shoes ,or strohmsholm , there are plenty of alternatives available , most of them in my opinion better

I'm sorry i don't know, but i do have a horse thats very similar, in that if he's not in right shoe he won't go!!! so i understand where you are coming from!

What about a farrier supply shop?

my horses have Kaerckhardt (sp!!)shoes that are belgian i think- 1 has aluminium shoes that look fairly similar to the french ones!)

We paid extra for48 hr delivery as our customer was happy to pay extra for that. Otherwise it would have been about a week if I remember rightly.
We just ordered 2 pairs as it is only wearing them short term

they are just a pair of shoes your farrier should be capable of knocking out in a few minutes at less than halve the price , being as you have now ordered them just make sure you have the correct nails , E heads do not fit correctly . mustad have a new ally competition shoe out every bit as good and a lot cheaper readily available from NWT near wrexham
