Hi folks,
Horse has delayed gastric emptying and ulcers. Ulcers were treated but because of the delayed gastric emptying they can't be seen. To stop putting him through the stress of tubing we have agreed to remove long stem fibre. I have worked out that he needs up to 5kg overnight after being on grass turnout all day. I want to stick to grass nuts, meadow nuts (lower in sugar than grass nuts), alfalfa nuts, alfalfa chop, chopped grass and unmollassed beet. He is in 4 days work at advanced dressage level. Which combination of these do you recommend and what ratio to make up the 5kg?
