Ulcers and hocks

I had exactly the same. Ulcers treated and scoped clear but still wouldn't trot. Anyway 2 years later after ditching Leahurst and getting new vet Cheshire Equine my horse has been diagnosed with acid reflux and responds amazingly to Ranitidine. If you are in Cheshire and need a new vet I would recommend Stuart at Cheshire Equine. I am finally riding mine after struggling for 2 years.

Pssm test came back clear, which is a huge relief! She's none the worse for the diet changes and looks really well so back to the drawing board on ridden issues!

I have one that I was convinced had PSSM, I sent her in for a biopsy that subsequently came back clear.

She is two weeks in on ulcer treatment, and is improving, so I am really hoping this might be the reason for her symptoms - though not classic ulcer syptoms of course!
