I "think" my horse may have ulcers & will need scoping. I am in Evesham, Worcestershire & nearest Practice (3 Counties) only do scoping at their Practice. This is a no-no as my other horse has dreadful anxiety/separation probs & I cannot take his mate away from him for an overnight stay which is what they want me to do. Does anyone know of an equine practice in the Glos/Worcs/Warwickshire area who do scoping at your own yard? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Willesley - based basically opposite Westonbert Arboretum - will not only come out to your yard and do it but you will also get probably the top ulcer specialist vet in the country treating your horse.

If yours does have ulcers feel free to PM me and ask any management questions, I have it down to an art finally!

A horse at our yard has just been scoped by a man called Tim Brasil, apparently a specialist in this field.. Horse concerned does not like travelling and has close links with another horse on yard and would stress at travelling. Tim came to our yard and did it all in a stable with all his euipment/monitors. I believe he on the internet if you google his name or your vet may have his details. He was very good and results were there to see instantly apart from samples sent away to lab for testing. Highly recommended!!
