so my horse has started not liking his girth being done up and have been told that it could be ulcers which are causing this. reading up about them it says any horse can get them however its normally down to horses not getting enough forage. my pony live out 24/7 with my other horse. they have lots of grass, a few times a week they'll get given a haynet for about 45 mins whilst i rider my other horse. they get 1 feed everyday which consists of 2 smallish scoops of quickbeet, 1 scoop of chaff and a cup ful of mix. they both have exactly the same diet but are only having troubles with one. what are peoples thoughts, do you reckon it could be ulcers or him just testing me as he is only about 5/6ish??? T.I.A :)

More likely tack is uncomfortable.

I totally agree with Bonkers2. But then too if u feel that your horse is suffering from ulcers the you can try "proton pump inhibitors(a treatment used to cure ulcers)". It will help you for sure and you will see the results in next 24 hrs after starting the treatment.
