Ultra grass... Anyone use it?

I am considering switching from Alfa oil to ultra grass with soya oil for Ben as he is barefoot and I don't want to be putting too much alfalfa into his system in the winter. Does anyone use ultra grass, what are your experiences/opinions of it? His winter diet will be linseed meal, speedie beet and fibre (UG). I would use fast fibre but he hates 'slop' so needs some sort chaff in his feed.

I fed my mare Ultragrass last winter when she dropped condition. She had a full tiny trug per day and it really helped to get weight on her. The instructions on the bag do say not to fed to laminitic prone ponies - not sure if this applies to Ben? Anyway, would highly recommend

Haven't tried it, so sorry no help OP - but may add it to my things to try to keep weight on.
