Bloody view it!

Sorry mini rant but having loads of people call about Ty and then they um and ah about coming to see him. Everything is in the ad so I don't get it....it's not like I tell them that he has 3 legs when they call

Anyhow, a couple of nice people have called so hopefully they'll come out and view him.

PS - decided on a long term loan now as opposed to selling him, I just cant do it....want him to retire with me when the time comes

thats brill news that your loaning him out . and when the time comes he will be with you ..
really pleased you have made that decision..
and good luck with the new people.

Yeah, I just couldn't do it - I love that stupid horse to bits. Rode him out with OH and his share horse and he was foot perfect - couldn't help thikning that he'll make someone a lovely hacking horse.

When the time comes and he can't be ridden, he'll come home to me!

Sorry I diagree with you here. I sometimes phone up about a horse to talk to the owner before I view it and then go and have a think about it.

Yes of course but I'm not saying anything that they don't know about him already so its all a bit odd. Guess I'm just the sort of person that if I like the look and sound of something I'll go and view it!

Thats great to hear. I haven't been on much the last few weeks, have you managed to get his hocks x-rayed yet?

Now that he's going on loan I've decided to get the vet out and xray on Monday anyway. He's moving nicely now and I've put him on buteless stuff to keep the pain off. That said, he's been off bute 3 days and he was fantastic to hack out today - had a lovely long canter and he didn't want to stop!

I'm quite chilled about it now as I know the right person will come up - there's no rush.

I personally don't phone about a horse unless I'm pretty sure I want to view it.

People who call up have usually got past the first stage of casual browsing.

It's not so much info that they are looking for - they want to now feel that there is a real person involved in this.

They may not ask much more than is already in the ad, but often they are listening to how you say what you say. They themselves may not even be aware of it, but it's all part of a confidence building process.

At least you have a few nice people coming.

My old horse is out on loan with the most perfect family. Just hang and and be very picky!!
