Apologies as this isn't a dog related story, the only tenuous link is that I happened to be at work visiting with my two dogs (one of which was getting his 3rd round of acupuncture) when the call came from our main branch to relay the news.
Last night apparently a woman was en route to the airport across the moors and thought she might have hit something. Having not seen anything she kept on going. When she arrived at the airport, someone pointed out to her that she had a lamb stuck to her bumper!
Lamb was alive, but with a broken leg. Police were called and took the lamb to the nearest E-vets which is our main branch. Vets there plastered it up and now have to try to find the owner (I believe SSPCA were called). Wee lamby was still at the hospital today where the staff are looking after it.
I could do with a lawn mower....I wonder if I could convince hubby that it's another poodle
