Wondered at what point you moved from unaffiliated dressage to affiliated?

I only did two unaffiliated dressage tests before I affiliated but that was more because I moved yards and if I wanted a lift it meant going affiliated...best thing I did, just be brave and go for it

We have got to establish a few things yet before becoming affiliated.......planning on starting lessons and then going affiliated next Spring. What's the differences/advantages/dis-advantages between the two?

I affiliated in march when I felt he was being placed consistently at prelim and and often in novice, and since then we've had nothing but issues so I haven't actually entered anything yet :S
