Is there much on?? I just want diddly SJ, dressage and indoor HT/XC, am I asking too much!! Merrist Woods dressage is £12 a class, which is what I pay for a class at an expensive BSJA venue!
www.ridingdiary.co.uk doesnt have much, I know most RC dont often have access to an indoor school.

Please, any suggestions? Even a fun ride would be something!

Medstead Grange is nice, have a look at their website, unaff SJ next weekend, enter in advance and class start times are given

There's quite a lot on this way but probably too far for you to travel?:

Dressage:

Stilebridge Barn, Staplehurst; Sandhurst Farm, Nr Tun Wells;
Hadlow Riding Club, Tonbridge; I think Dartford RC do a Winter Dressage series near Swanley plus Duckhurst, Golden Cross and Cobham

SJ:
Eaglesfield Eq Centre (near Brands Hatch) do a winter SJ series as do Duckhurst and Golden X.

Eventers Challenge
Golden Cross have a couple coming up.

Just need to look on their website

Merrist Wood is a BSJA venue??? Huge indoor school and huge outdoor warm up, hard to beat, have everything from clear rounds, unafil everything to BD, BSJA and eventers challenges etc
Sands Farm
Pachesham

Oh I meant that I didnt want to pay the same price for unaff D as I do for aff BSJA! Pachesham have got one more HT before they stop their season, just printed off Sands schedule thank you.
I cant spot MW indoor hunter trials? I agree its a great venue (about 20 min away) but I swear it has its own sub zero micro-climate!

Where exactly are you? My favourites round here are BCA (opeining again this week after F&M closure), Snowball farm at Patchetts.

www.eaglesfield.net is our local centre, winter series you have to enter in advance - it gets busy. any questions i might be able to help as go there quite regularly. jumped there this weekend infact! its indoor, and they have just got new jump for joy jumps! and theres a cafe and bar so thumbs up!

www.longwoodec.co.uk
longwood at basildon is nice i went there for an eventer trial the other day and its SO friendly there and doesnt take as long to get there as you would think.

depending what part of london you are theres not much else that i know of thats not already been mentioned above that has an indoor school, except the Old Mill winter dressage series & the Arrow, Dartford also dressage, but also has fun small SJ shows/gymkhana etc for the RDA charit.

Im SW London, ponies are around the A3/M25 interchange. My closest venues are Merrist Wood and Vicarage Farm , but would travel for a good venue.
Ive been to Folkestone(limes Farm ) before though! Aaah stoopidly far away...

Thanks Vicki, Ive been to Eaglesfield to pick up a pony, so I know its not that far..have got some schedules from them.
Its just the season I guess, in the summer unaff and fun shows are a dime a dozen, and now its hard to find them!

Thats it! I seem to have managed to find something to occupy myself every weekend til mid december by which point i will be tired out i think!!
there's also mock hunting in surrey if you fancy that? thats good to blast the cobwebs away and jump some good XC.

if i hear of any good comps on the local forums will pass info on to you.

Oh, is that the Bloodhounds? I think that would be great fun!! Got a pony I want to sell so a pic of her hedge hopping might be just the ticket.
Thank you! Will keep my hip flask ready then!

no unfortunately not its just the mock with the riding club over the farms (there are hedges though!) so no hounds we were hoping to go out with a proper hunt this season but what with all the F&M stopping and starting !!
