Is it true that if you have come 1st, 2nd or 3rd in an unaffiliated novice class that you are not allowed to enter another one? and does this apply only to the venue in which you came 1st, 2nd or 3rd at or does it apply to anywhere you go to compete? Hope that makes sense!

No it is not true. Each and every single class has a different set of rules as to who can enter. Just make sure that you read the schedule carefully and you'll be all right. Sometimes it is not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in which case you are never to have been at any venue. BTW all Trailblazers classes are opens so anyone can enter them (different rules for the 2nd rounds)

They all have their own rules ,so every venue will be different but if it states novice is not to have come 1st,2nd or 3rd in any show jumping competition ,then it will mean anywhere

ooo ok, thanks!

Was just wondering because I won my Novice SJ class last weekend and was wondering what classes I would be allowed to do when I go to my next show next weekend!
