Unaffiliated south west ODEs in March/April - know of any?...

Hiya,

Just trying to figure out where to take Jack and would really like to kick off his eventing career with an unaff ODE in March, but the soonest I can find is the Tweseldown unaff in April.

Does anyone know of one in March about intro height or a little smaller in the south west area-ish?....

I have a feeling this debut may be quite exciting!!!!!

Stockland lovell does a super one in March. Aldon also does a super one at beginning of April.

Southcott @ winkleigh start hunter trials beginning of april but they dont seem to have an ODE til late May. I find it very calm and relaxing atmosphere there, so a hunter trial might be a good start?

If you can travel over the bridge then the eventing on a surface which is run at Cricklands is a great way to kick start the season...

Hhhhhmmm I have reservations about visiting Wales again in a hurry, last time I went we went over the bridge then came back via Hereford!!!! It took us 5 hours!!!! 2 of which stuck in Hereford town centre....not fun!

Maybe I might just do a few hunter trials to begin with, we are deffo not polished enough to do eventing on a surface! that is for people who's scores are gonna count! hahahah

Moreton in Dorset have an unaffiliated ODE on Sunday 14th March 2010. (A week after their BE).

BDRC have their HT at Leyland Court on the 18th April I think.
Their 3ft course is fairly decent.
