I need to buy new clipper blades. Lent my clippers to a friend who dropped than and broken the teeth off the blades  She's giving me money to replace the blades so I've been ebay browsing.

I have Liveryman Whisper clippers that take A102 blades. I've found a seller on ebay who has identical blades for 1/3 of the price.

Is there issues with cheap non-branded blades? Should I just cough up and spend £40+ on 'proper' liveryman blades?

Don't buy cheap blades!! The quality of the blades is important as the quality of the clippers.

Replace them with a like for like pair and get your friend to pay the bill for them.

Why would you buy inferior blades when the person who damaged them has offered to pay? I would replace like with like so unless they were the cheap off ebay blades that were damaged in the first place. Don't shoot yourself in the foot :)

Have just bought 3 sets for £30 of eBay probably the same seller- they were absolutely rubbish!!! Please buy proper branded blades- you get what you pay for!! Seller has been very good and offered a full refund though!

The Liveryman A2's should fit the Arena, mustang, filly, plus they fit Liscop machines as well. They don't fit the whisper, which takes A102 blades, or Heinegar blades.
