Unbroken 7 yr old

Anyone on here had any experience training an unbroken older horse? Just seen one I like the look of. Genuine reason for it not being broken (along with the countless others at the same farm, 40 horses for sale from foals to 20yr old brood mares with nice breeding).
Don't need another but love a bargain/challenge!

it wouldn't put me off, and i know people who have broken in older horses without problems.

Would put me off!! Only had experience of one and he was a pain. Too set in his ways and too many 'why should I''s'

wouldnt put me off either aslong as it had the right attitude.. my pony was broken as an 8yo and was fantastic, so it wouldnt be too much of an issue for me

Depends on what he has been doing with his life. I broke in an 8yo Stallion who had only been used for breeding, but was obviously well handled and respected people, he was a cinch!

Doesn't put me off, I know quite a few mares that start later because they have a couple of foals first

I had a horse on loan who was broken as an 8 year old and I had no problems so I would say go for it if you like it.

I broke in my belgian warmblood mare november last year as a 7 year old and had no probs

shed been used as a broodmare all her life hence why she hadnt been broken.

I also broke in a 7 year old section c last year who had just been used as a pet and that was also without problems

it wouldnt put me off
