Uncle Jimmys - Sugar free - OK for laminitic?

I have seen the uncle Jimmys sugar free balls and lickit type refills and am wondering if they would be ok for a laminitic.

My guy is now over the worst but still on box rest. He is being very good but I am aware it is not much fun for him so thought one of these might help to provide a few hours entertainment for him.

BUT I just don't know, it says on their bumpf that it is ok for cushings and laminitics but would appreciate the oppinions of others...don't want to cause a set back to the recovery

I think they make the sugar free versions with Laminitics in mind
