Under rugs?

Anyone here use stable rugs as under rugs under turnout? Or fleeces? I do, but fellow livery said they wouldn't?

I do, annie has a lightweight quilt type stable rug that i just put heavier turnouts or stable rugs on top of in winter. means she gets to keep a warm layer on rather than put freezing cold rugs straight on. stays dry and she stays warm

I do if it's mega cold, with a lightweight neckless stable under a turnout, but personally wouldn't use a fleece.

Don't tend to use fleeces they seem to stretch but I do use stable rugs and a duvet with surcingal for when its really cold.
