Uneasy feeling re the girl mudered in Goa

I went on holiday with my ex OH when I was 15, I think these days 15 in someways is quite mature!

I am going to India on the 29th of this month, we got return flights for £294 each! Its so cheap when you get out there! I love India and this will not put me off going.

the family seem to live pretty much hand to mouth. I did see something in a paper that they manage by selling the odd pony and the sale of a pony raised the funds for the air fare to Goa. Not querying the truth of this just quoting what I have read.
 
I haven't i admit, read all the replies, however, whatever you say 15 IS TOO YOUNG. Goa is a drugs free for all. It is unsafe to walk the streets. As a tourist you are advised as such. To leave a 15 yr old is uncomprehensible to any normal caring parent. FOR GOODNESS SAKE, where do you get your logic. Just because YOU felt you were streetwise at 15 that is no excuse to abandon your daughter, and lets get it right THAT IS WHAT SHE DID. She knew that her daughter was in a sexual realtionship with a a MAN many years older than her, and she had met him only days before. EXCUSE ME! I would be after him with a paring knife. This family live locally to me and although I do not know them the local feeling is that ....well - won't go into details - you imagine. Get a grip, many ask what is wrong in todays society and funnily enough you get a glimpse of it right here on this forum. WELL DONE Henryhorn, yeah, your right, not old fashioned, JUST RIGHT.

Now, having heard local gossip at work in all its delicious malice, what I imagine here is a certain outraged spitefulness, even a certain pleasure that this poor woman has been paid back for being different by the rape and murder of her daughter.... Well, you did invite us to imagine....
