Shoes cannot correct rotation....only a correct trim can do that alongside removing the cause of the laminitis and supporting the WHOLE hoof not just the frogs. Gardeners kneeling pads are good for this.
Laminitis really is best treated unshod. With laminitis, the structures that attach the inside of the hoof to the outside wall are compromised. Attaching a shoe to the wall , and not fully supporting the rest of the whole hoof...frog, sole and wall may result in more damage/rotation plus with a shoe on ,the realigning trim can't be done frequently enough to correct rotation.
