Unintentionally funny but serious comments people have made.

I keep smiling about something a long term trainer said to me earlier this year. My horse reacted to a noise. She suggested, perfectly reasonably, that I should put an ear bonnet on him. I nearly fell off him laughing at the thought. He had ear plaques and you couldn't put a bridle on him without taking it to pieces ???

After my young mare spent a week at a water treadmill, theraplate rehabilitation place, the owners leaving comment was, oh I recommend you lunge her before getting on as she will be racehorse fit now. My face must have said it all at his comment, followed by his face, when I said the vet said I cant lunge her yet . Thankfully she was an angel but I was seriously cacking it lol!!
