I have a scrap book made up of colour prints, B&W prints, newspaper & magazine articles all about Equestrian matters. It includes family photos of people such as John Hislop (General Manager "The British Racehorse" Magazine); Lt Col Harry Llewellyn, Pat Smythe, Lt Col MP Ansell and Miss Mary Whitehead to name but a few. It is a magnificent collection which would be of huge interest to the right person. The scrap book starts with details, articles and photos on the Helsinki Olympics and the Three Day Event team from GB, and moves on to many other equestrian stories from 1952 onwards. Included in the scrap book is a signed letter from The British Racehorse Journal's editor, Mr. David Livingstone-Learmonth to a Mrs. Sinclair from London W9. Dated 15th April 1952 it talks about a unique B&W photo of the horse Gladiateur, which is included.
Considering this scrap book dates from 1952 (approx) it is in remarkably good condition. I would like to see this scrap book end up with someone who would find it interesting and would possibly mean something.
